Welcome to Life in the Pink

I created Life in the Pink as I've always struggled to express how I am feeling or what I want to say verbally.  Raising two boys with my Husband, being a Mum, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunty, Granddaughter and being me, there is plenty that goes through my head.  I hope that by sharing these thoughts and experiences it helps others to realise they are not alone, it is normal and together we can do it.  You can also join me on my quest to becoming a Writer, reading the trials and tribulations of my writing course.

You can also find me on Facebook at Life in the Pink.

Life in the Pink

I've always loved the colour pink, i dont mean bright pink, dark pink, salmon pink, rose or fuschia, i'm talking classic baby pink. That pastel pink, like candy floss, it makes me happy to see it. I think my obsession with the colour may come from growing up with 2 brothers, yes i'm the middle child. Then i met my husband and guess what, i had 2 BOYS. Where i can, i bring in the pink, pink blanket, pinky/purple walls (no way could i get away with total pink). Life in the Pin

Social media overload?

As the boys go back to school tomorrow and all the pictures have started to appear on Facebook, i wonder why we feel the need to share these, dont get me wrong, i will also attempt a 'back to school' picture and upload it waiting for the likes but why do i do this, why do i need them. I know i'm proud of the boys and i 'like' the photo too, i just dont know why im compelled to share it. Ironic, as i know im using social media for my blog. As humans, will we start to withdraw
